Michél worked 9 years for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Europe and Asia before founding HERRMANNconsulting. During this time he provided accounting & tax advice, audit and structuring services to German and International companies. In Singapore Michél was the lead accounting advisor on IPOs and M&A activities for Singapore and US-based clients.

Michél is a frequent speaker at accounting conventions and seminars. Since 2008 he is a trainer of the ICPAS's Continuing Professional Education program. Beginning Fall 2010 Michél will teach "International Accounting and Auditing" at the University of Friedrichshafen (Germany).

Michél has authored and co-authored multiple publications on International Accounting and Accounting Structuring. He recently published an article concerning the accounting treatment of sales and licensing of intangible assets.

Michél graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mannheim in 2001. He qualified as US-CPA in 2003, as German Tax Advisor in 2005, as German CPA in 2006 and as Singaporean CPA in 2009. Michél is a member of the Institute of German CPAs, the AiCPA and the ICPAS.
